Toy Story 4” has a friend in the box office. The Disney Pixar sequel took home another $17 million in Friday ticket sales, leading to a decisive victory over weekend openers “Annabelle Comes Home” and “Yesterday.”

After collecting $118 million in its inaugural weekend and topping more than $167 million in its first six days, “Toy Story 4” continues to dominate at the domestic box office, heading toward an estimated $55.9 million second weekend – only slightly behind “Toy Story 3,” which took home about $59 million during its sophomore weekend.

Far behind “Toy Story” is New Line’s “Annabelle Comes Home,” which took home $6.6 million in Friday ticket sales for an estimated $19.2 million three-day finish and a $30 million six-day total (The film opened early on Wednesday). That’s in line with early estimates – which placed the film within the $30 million range – but it does mark the “Conjuring” franchise’s worst opening ever. Previously, “Annabelle: Creation

The rumor was first started earlier this week by Rob McElhenney, creator and star of “It’s Always Sunny.” McElhenney posted a video online from the set of the Fxx comedy’s fourteenth season and revealed the production was filming on the exact same set “The Office” used for its main setting, Dunder Mifflin.

McElhenney’s post left many “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” fans wondering if the show was planning a crossover episode or some kind of tribute to Carell’s beloved NBC comedy. “It’s Always Sunny” earned widespread acclaim in Season 13 for an episode that re-created a famous scene from “Seinfeld” (watch a clip here), so fans are predicting something

‘Loudest Voice,’ ‘Brexit,’ ‘Good Fight’ Reflect TV’s New Approach to Politics
The entertainment industry has rarely been shy to put politics under the lens.

In recent years, shows like “Veep” and “House of Cards” provided side-splitting satire and dystopian shock and awe respectively, before the current administration threw a spanner in the works. Now, creators are having to adapt to the new political reality and executives are having to program accordingly. With series like “The Loudest Voice” and films like “Brexit” out this year, featuring heavy hitters in Russell Crowe, Naomi Watts and Benedict Cumberbatch, it would seem that the entertainment industry is increasingly looking to dissect current affairs and recent history,

The Media Hands Trump a Hollow Victory on North Korea

President Donald Trump is exploiting the media’s love of photo ops to fool America into thinking he is making any kind of meaningful progress on North Korea. Today, after extending a last-minute invitation via Twitter, he met North Korean leader Kim Jong-un at the border between North and South Korea where the two leaders shook hands, and Trump greeted Kim as “my friend” (after all, the two are now pen pals). Trump then stepped across the border into North Korea, becoming the first sitting president to do so.

All 58 Marvel Movies Ranked, Including ‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’

All 58 Marvel Movies Ranked, Including ‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’
We’re only halfway through the year, but somehow we’ve reached the end of the 2019 Marvel movie release schedule. Yes, it’s true — “Spider-Man: Far From Home” is the last one. No more McU this year, no more “X-Men” movies, no more animated “Spider-Man” movies or live-action spinoffs. But it’s hard to be too mad, since the first half of the year has been full of riches, with four new movies to add to the decades-long pantheon of movies based on Mrvel Comics.

So that makes now an exceptionally good time to rank ‘em all, from “Howard the Duck” to last year’s “Black Panther,” “Avengers: Infinity War,” “Deadpool 2,” “Ant-Man and the Wasp,” “Venom” and “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse” — and this year’s “Captain Marvel, “Avengers: Endgame,” “Dark Phoenix” and “Spider-Man: Far From Home.” So let’s get to it.

58. “Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer”

Just a nightmare.

‘Aladdin’ Passes ‘Independence Day’ as Will Smith’s Biggest Box Office Hit
For 23 years, “Independence Day” stood as the biggest box office hit of Will Smith’s career. A magic lamp just brought an end to that.

This past week, Disney’s remake of “Aladdin,” which stars Smith as the iconic Genie, passed the $817 million worldwide box office total that “Independence Day” earned in 1996. After six weekends in theaters, “Aladdin” now has a worldwide total of $874 million, standing only behind “Avengers: Endgame” and “Captain Marvel” on the 2019 charts.

Dave Bautista Would ‘Rather Do Good Films’ Instead of ‘Fast & Furious’
If there were any “Fast & Furious” or WWE fans hoping to see Dave Bautista share the screen with The Rock and John Cena, the retired wrestler-turned-actor has some bad news for you.

On Twitter, Bautista responded to a tweet suggesting that Cena and Dwayne Johnson might star in a “Fast & Furious” spinoff together in the future. After all, Johnson will get such a spinoff later this summer with “Hobbs and Shaw,” while Cena has just starting shooting on “Fast & Furious 9,” which will come out in 2020.

But when the fan suggested he play the villain in a hypothetical Rock/Cena spinoff, Bautista quickly shut that down with a tweet that featured two puke emojis, a sarcastic “thank you for your consideration,” and the hashtag #idratherdogoodfilms.
